How to Recover Data from Broken/Dead iPhone

If you have a broken or even a dead iPhone filled with precious memories, you mast be very upset for not being able to get these important data out of your phone before it become totally unusable. Perhaps, you may think of fixing your iPhone on repairing stores. However, even if you can fix your iPhone, you may face the problem of losing all the data on your iPhone, which usually happens when fixing phones. Then, it is better for you to backup/recover data from broken iPhone X/8/7/6/5.

If you want to recover your iPhone data from broken/dead iPhone, you can look at the following methods. 

Method 1: Recover iPhone Data from iCloud Backup


If you have synced your iPhone to iCloud, you can save your data by extracting them from your iCloud backup. Just follow the steps bellow:

Step 1: Click here on your computer to sign in with your iCloud account.

Step 2: Choose data type you want to save and click it to enter the next step.


Step 3: Select exact data you want and then save them to your computer.

Method 2: Recover Data for Broken/Dead iPhone with Recovery Software


Even if you don’t have any backup of your iPhone, you can still extract data from your iPhone directly and save them somewhere else. Here, you can use Jihosoft iPhone Data Recovery, a third party software to help recover/backup data from broken/dead iPhone to computer. 

Step 1: Download and open this software on your computer.

Step 2: Connect your iPhone to the computer and be sure to tap “Trust” on your iPhone when asked to.

Step 3: Let the software to scan your iPhone and find all the data (including the deleted ones) on it.


Step 4: Choose the data you want and click “Recover” to save them to your computer.


Actually, if your iPhone is totally dead so that you can’t connect your iPhone to computer successfully, you can also use this software to recover data from iTunes backup.
